Qualifying Applicants can now enjoy the benefits of a Replacement Boiler with up to 100% Funding
Boiler Replacement

Boilers account for around 55 per cent of what you spend in a year on energy bills, so an efficient boiler makes a big difference.  Replacing an old boiler with no controls, with an A-rated high-efficiency condensing boiler and full set of heating controls will significantly cut your home's carbon dioxide emissions and could save you as much as £490 a year, substantially increasing your home’s energy efficiency.

Modern boilers are more efficient for several reasons, but their main advantage is that they are all condensing boilers. All well-maintained boilers burn their fuel very efficiently, but they inevitably lose some heat in the hot gases that escape up the flue. A condensing boiler has a bigger heat exchanger, so it recovers more heat, sends cooler gases up the flue and is more efficient

Why is this funded?

Due to obligations with the Government, Energy companies in the UK are providing Replacement Boiler grants through the Affordable Warmth schemes in order to improve the energy efficiency of homes in the UK. Surveyours use installers that have access to the current scheme for free replacement boilers allowing Qualifying Applicants to receive up to 100% Funding regardless of their age or location.

Who Qualifies?

To qualify for the Affordable Warth scheme for a Replacement Boiler, applicants must be in reciept of a qualifying state benefit and live in a privately owned/rented property that has a boiler which is less than 86% efficient (usually over 7 years old).  To see if you qualify simply follow the Qualifying Benefits Guide Below.
